Tom Kielich founded Oak Ridge Advisory LLC after more than two decades working as a financial executive across a range of organizations — from complex, PE-backed companies managing multi-entity structures and ERP migrations, to owner-operated businesses building the financial infrastructure they need to grow, scale, or position for a future sale.

That breadth of experience is the foundation of Oak Ridge Advisory. The firm exists to deliver senior financial leadership on a fractional basis — bringing CFO and controller-level expertise directly to organizations that need it, without the overhead of a full-time hire. Every engagement is led personally by Tom. No hand-offs, no account managers, no junior staff.

Not every organization needs a full-time CFO. But every organization at a certain scale needs someone who thinks and operates like one.

Tom's experience spans the full range of financial operations: from cleaning up and normalizing financials to present a clear picture of business performance, through ongoing close and reporting oversight, all the way to executive-level work — cash flow forecasting, multi-entity consolidations, ERP implementation support, board and investor reporting, and exit readiness preparation. He has served clients across manufacturing, distribution, technology, and marketing sectors, in the NYC metro area and remotely nationwide.

Based in northern New Jersey and active in the Morris County business community, Tom brings one consistent commitment to every engagement: the same level of financial leadership you'd expect from a seasoned in-house executive — delivered with the flexibility the engagement actually requires.

How We Work

Principles that guide every engagement

These aren't marketing language — they're the commitments that shape how Tom approaches every client relationship.

01
Trust over transaction

Your finances are among the most sensitive aspects of your business. Oak Ridge treats every engagement as a long-term partnership built on discretion, consistency, and candor — not a one-time project.

02
Clarity, not complexity

Good financial work makes things simpler. Tom's job is to cut through the noise — clean records, readable reports, and honest answers — so you can make decisions with confidence.

03
Right-sized for what you need

Every engagement is structured around the actual situation — not a fixed package. Whether it's a targeted project or an ongoing executive relationship, the scope, cadence, and deliverables are built around what the organization actually requires.

Why Oak Ridge

The experience to lead —
the flexibility to fit

Not every organization needs a full-time CFO. But every organization at a certain scale needs someone who thinks and operates like one.

Oak Ridge Advisory delivers that capability on a fractional basis — bringing 20+ years of financial executive experience to PE-backed companies, complex mid-market organizations, and owner-operators who need more from their financial function. You work directly with Tom on every engagement. No hand-offs to junior staff, no account managers, no overhead baked into the rate.

For organizations in the NYC metro area and beyond, that combination of executive-grade expertise and flexible delivery is exactly what Oak Ridge was built to provide.
